Bond

Push the top plate forward, bring it back, and start again. 「Bond」 keeps the interaction focused on a simple sliding motion, housed in a slender rectangular form. The patterned face gives the design a mechanical look, while the character-shaped opening at its center adds a small, unexpected expression. A familiar push-and-return cycle gets a face of its own.

The character comes from Ph Lab’s fictional laboratory world, where a small experimental character takes shape around flowing forms and a pair of sunglasses. Here, that idea becomes a detail built into the slider’s design. Turn it over and the PH LAB engraving gives the reverse side its own identity. Clean outlines, restrained graphics, and a slightly mischievous face keep the character present without taking over the object.
